Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 9 - Color Inspiration Board

There's a new challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! It's all about bright summery color with a Color Inspiration Board.

I was inspired by the happy colors and those bright flip flops to make my beach-themed card!

I stamped some images from Life is Good with Memento Desert Sand ink and used Copic markers to add some coloring with a no-line look. I used Lawn Fawn Merman and Peacock inks to create the sky and sea and an Outside In Stitched Circle for the window. The Palm Tree was colored using a finger dauber with JalapeƱo and Doe ink by Lawn Fawn.

I hope you'll join the fun at Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 9!

Summertime Fun with Lawn Fawnatics!

I hope you are all enjoying this sunny summer! At Lawn Fawnatics the new challenge theme is Summertime Fun! Here's your chance to show us what summer means to you! I hope you will join us!

I always love to be at the beach (anytime of year, but especially on sunny summer days)! I made a CAS card with minimal stamping to represent my love for all things beachy!

I used Louie's ABCs to die cut the letters to spell out beach and then I added beachy colors to the letters using Copic markers (E33, 31; BG09,18,02,01). I colored the sun from Spring Showers with Copics (YR31) as well. I added a little sentiment with Smitty's ABCs in Peacock ink.

Visit the Lawn Fawnatics blog today and join the Summertime Fun challenge! One random winner receives a $25.00 gift card for lawnfawn.com!

Cheerful Get Well for Lawn Fawnatics New Challenge!

It's the first Monday of the month so that means another wonderful new challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! It's time to add to your stash of get well and thinking of you cards with the new theme: Cheerful Get Well!
The Lawn Fawnatics Design Team has some awesome inspiration HERE.

I combined lots of sets to create a cheery little vignette!
The images were stamped with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored with Copic markers. The tissue box was paper-pieced using a scrap of Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper.
I die cut a Zig Zag square from Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 paper and added a strip of Let's Polka in the Meadow 6x6 paper with detail from Valentine Borders

I hope you'll join us at Lawn Fawnatics and tell a friend! You could win a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn Shop!

A Cute and Feminine Graduation Card

My niece is graduating from high school next month so I made a card for her using her school colors!

I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create a circular sky and then overstamped to text in Moonstone ink.

I added the cute and feminine details using Valentine Borders and Stitched Borders. Not to mention the cute smiley faces on the clouds!

To add a gift card to the inside I used Lift the Flap. The sentiment is stamped with Noble Fir ink and Scripty Congrats is die cut from Shooting Star Watercolor Wishes paper.

This card is featured on the Lawn Fawn blog today! You'll find a supply list there :)

New Lawn Fawn!! Upon a Star and Stitched Fireworks

It's Lawn Fawn's Summer 2017 Inspiration and Release Week and they are rolling out some pretty awesome and innovative stuff! And as always they have amazing Design Team samples, great Intro Videos and lots of daily giveaways along with the Big Giveaway! Visit the Lawn Fawn blog today! The new products will be released on May 18th!!

I had a chance to play with the adorable new Upon a Star stamp set and combined it with the fabulous new Stitched Fireworks Lawn Cuts die. I used Lawn Fawn inks in Peacock, Plastic Flamingo, Sugarplum, Sunflower and Freshly Cut Grass along with Black Soot Distress ink and Delicata Golden Glitz to create the colorful background.

I stamped the woodland critters in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and used Copic markers to color them, adding a highlight to their heads to look like the glow of the fireworks.

I sprayed a glitter spritz on the background for a bit of shine!
The caption was created using  a speech bubble from A Birdie Told Me and Riley's ABCs.

Introducing Lawn Fawnatics!

I am so happy to announce that Lawn Fawn has started a fun new challenge blog! It's called Lawn Fawnatics and we will have a new challenge twice monthly. Today is our very first challenge and since we are celebrating Lawn Fawn's 7th birthday this month we have a Birthday theme!

You will find the new blog and the first challenge HERE

Every month we will randomly choose a winner from the challenge entries to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to use at lawnfawn.com and we will feature some of the challenge entries on the blog as well. I hope you will join in the fun as we build a creative and supportive community of Lawn Fawn fans!

I made a card for the occasion using Hang in There. I love this set; I've always joked that the sloth is my son Ben's spirit animal (he would agree!). So for his upcoming birthday this set was the perfect choice.

I hope you will check out the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog and meet our awesome Design Team

And don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more Inspiration Week samples, videos and giveaways!

A Valentine in Neutral Colors

I have a card featured on the Lawn Fawn blog today that uses Love Letters to create a stamped background. I stuck with a neutral color palette of kraft cardstock, Lawn Fawn Soot ink, Black Licorice cardstock, vellum and just a smidgen of Chili Pepper cardstock. For the complete supply list you can visit the Lawn Fawn blog.

I love the look of text in the background. The pops of red keep this neutral design from being too plain.

I made Valentines for my grandson Uriah's class again this year!

I used Monster Mash and Argyle Backdrops along with the sun from the die set Sun and Moon. The fun Zig Zag Rectangle and Cilantro cardstock will be available on February 23!!

This Valentine is all about that goofy googly eyed monster!!

These are the cards I made for Uriah in 2015 and 2016 using Lawn Fawn's Wheelie Like You and Pizza My Heart sets.

Thanks so much for your visit!
